P28 Bread Now Carried in Wegmans Grocery Chain

Syracuse, NY (PRWEB) April 28, 2012

New York Bakery, developers of the health-based company P28 out of Syracuse, NY, is pleased to announce that all P28 High Protein Bread and Bagel products are now available at all Wegmans grocery stores across the United States.

ABOUT WEGMANS

Wegmans is a privately held, family-owned company that was founded in 1916 by the Wegman family, and is headquartered in Rochester, New York. The company, whose chain of franchises are largely located in the eastern portion of the U.S., has been ranked #4 on FORTUNE magazine’s 2012 list of the 100 Best Companies to Work For, and has been on the list every year since it began in 1998, and in 2005, ranked #1. Wegmans is one of the largest private companies in the U.S. while having also raised the bar on the shopping experience with better quality goods, a choice selection of goods, restaurant-quality prepared foods, noteworthy stores and displays, and a well-communicated level of customer service, having been praised by the Food Network and Consumer Reports alike.

ABOUT P28 PRODUCTS

P28 High Protein Bread and Bagels are 100% Natural and jam packed with 28 grams of protein. P28 is made with 100% Whole Wheat, and the highest quality source of protein, Whey Isolate. P28 also has 8 essential amino acids, is a good source of fiber, and is cholesterol free.

Made with only the finest ingredients, P28 is formulated to build a healthy body. Whether you are looking to build lean muscle or lose body fat, P28 will provide you with the protein and nutrients you need to stay fueled throughout any activity.

THE P28 STORY

P28 Bread was developed by three brothers and their personal trainer — Mike, Chris and Peter Christou — who own a bakery in Syracuse, New York. The idea for the bread stemmed from the brothers own desire to lose weight and get in shape without sacrificing great-tasting bakery foods. Bread is normally the first thing you have to give up when you diet, explained Peter. We wanted to develop bread that would be the staple ingredient of weight loss and fitness programs.

The brothers worked closely with their personal trainer, Billy Sullivan to understand the relationship between exercise and diet. If you want to lose weight, you have to do more than hit the gym. You have to address nutrition, explained Sullivan, who developed P28 High Protein Bread with the Christou brothers. Its the bread you want, the protein you need, added Chris.

The group worked for over a year developing the perfect recipe for bread that was nutritious, an excellent source of protein, great-tasting, and filling. According to Mike, some protein foods can be chalky or unpleasant, but P28 is real bread. It looks, feels and smells right. It toasts right. And it has the finest ingredients, including whey protein.

Research from Harvard Medical has demonstrated that increasing muscle mass increases metabolism (the amount of calories you burn while at rest). Increasing your muscle mass does not require becoming as big or defined as a body builder, but it does require additional protein, and P28 High Protein Bread is a tasty, wholesome way to add protein to your diet, says Mike. Protein also helps protect and repair your cells and give you the long-term energy you need to get through your day.

California Giant Berry Farms Selects Eight Winning Fresh Berry Recipes from Consumer Contest

Watsonville, CA (PRWEB) April 26, 2012

California Giant Berry Farms just completed a very successful consumer berry campaign and is now sharing the very fruitful results. In partnership with Chefn, a kitchen accessory brand, the Sweet Taste of Spring consumer campaign was built around a recipe contest that provided the company with over 100 delicious recipe entries from consumers and bloggers across the country. Submitted in eight winning categories, recipes featured California Giant fresh berries and were judged by a professional chef. Julia Myall, the companys chef advisor and cookbook author, tested each of the finalist recipes and provided California Giant with her winning recommendations based on flavor, creativity and versatility.

There were winners in eight different categories, but the grand prize winner was submitted by a consumer who took the time to submit several recipes encompassing each category which were all delicious. It was agreed that her best entry was ultimately a Blueberry Corn Fritter recipe which was tasted and enjoyed by all at California Giant last week. Chef Myall focused on this recipe as the grand prize winner due to its color, flavor and versatility in that it can be served as a side dish, an entr

Vegetarian Diet Food Preparation For Traveling

Get your FREE 7-day Vegetarian Meal Plan from: www.KardenasKitchen.com Plus, you’ll discover the 10 foods NOT to eat on a weight loss diet. Hi! I’m Kardena Pauza from EasyVeggieMealPlans.com. Today we are getting ready to go to the airport on a last minute trip. This is a great opportunity for me to show you what I do to prepare for a long trip. I want to bring a lot of healthy and easy to prepare foods for trips like these. I took some vegetables from my refrigerator and chopped them up (it took me about 15 minutes of prep time) into a vegetable salad. This will last us for 2 days (broccoli, spinach, beets, asparagus, radishes, fresh corn). It’s a light salad that will work for us because we aren’t going to be very active on this trip. This salad is full of nutrients and will make us feel very light and energized. Keep in mind if you are traveling on a plane, you can bring food, but not liquids. So, instead of storing my dressing in a container, I’m going to drizzle it on my salad and take it with me that way. This is my favorite quick and easy salad dressing, which you can find in my Easy Veggie Meal Plans, which you can get online. I make it by drizzling some sunflower seed oil, agave nectar and amino acids for the salt and fresh-squeezed lemon juice. It’s great! You can take a lot of healthy snacks on the plane (vegetables, nuts, seeds). I’m also going to pack some celery sticks and cucumbers. I sprinkle a little bit of seasoning on a cucumber which is great. It’s

Add-on Tours Now Available in Northern Spain – Northern Exposure Spain Expands Offering

Santander, Cantabria, Spain (PRWEB) April 25, 2012

Northern Exposure Spain provides custom tours in Northern Spain catering to client specific interests. Travelers planning a trip to Spain can now enjoy adding on a custom tour of the Cantabria area of Green Spain to enhance their travel experience, just as a hunting party from Texas did recently.

Northern Exposure Spain recently completed another successful tour of the Cantabria area of Northern Spain. The tour was an add-on for a hunting party whose primary reason for coming to Spain was to hunt Spanish Ibex in the mountains of central Spain. The Carson hunting party, a couple from Texas, wanted to take advantage of the long trip over to Spain by experiencing a bit more than just a hunting trip. They entrusted Northern Exposure Spain with providing them a memorable travel experience after their successful gold medal Spanish Ibex hunts.

Northern Exposure Spain customized an itinerary designed around personal preferences and specific interests of the clients. These included a desire to travel by train to Cantabria, a preference for accommodations in an historic hotel, discovering local cuisine and lesser known wines, enjoying unique historic sites and a love of the outdoors. Once again, Northern Exposure Spain provided a unique travel experience, which, for the Carsons, included highlights such as a meal at one of the local Michelin Star restaurants, described by them as possibly the our best meal, ever, going to a Catholic mass on Palm Sunday in a 7th century cave church, spotting Iberian chamois in the Picos de Europa Mountains and staying in a 17th century mansion in the historic medieval town of Santillana del Mar.

I have to say that our trip to Northern Spain was one of the best vacations we have ever been on. Charless personal attention, knowledge and planning were outstanding. The fact that he spoke perfect Spanish and was able to translate for us everywhere we went was awesome. This was such a fun and stress free vacation, commented Ronda Carson after their tour. Thank you Charles for making us feel like we were lifelong friends and showing us your beautiful country. It really shows that you love what you do.

A Northern Exposure Spain tour presents travelers with a different view of Spain, contrasting what most people consider typically Spanish. Northern Spain is different and always pleasantly surprising for those travelers that decide to explore this lesser known area of the country. Northern Exposure Spain provides clients with an in depth experience of this off the beaten path part of Spain that is impossible to reproduce without a lifetime of local knowledge.

Following up on two gold medal Spanish Ibex hunts, one of them a species record, is a hard act to follow, stated Northern Exposure Spain Chief Experience Officer (CEO) Charles Schwalbe. The pressure was definitely on for us, but thorough planning and really honing in on client preferences and interests made for yet another unique travel experience for our clients. Our personalized attention to detail and in depth local knowledge ensures our success. It also provides the ultimate reward for us at Northern Exposure Spain, client satisfaction.

Travelers can learn more about Northern Exposure Spain and designing a personalized custom tour in Northern Spain here, or contact Charles Schwalbe directly at 888-737-8146.

Back2Basics Alcohol and Drug Long-Term Rehabilitation Center Celebrates Two-Year Anniversary

Flagstaff, AZ (PRWEB) April 23, 2012

Despite the economic downturn, small, family-run alcohol and drug rehabilitation center, Back2Basics Sober Living, has continued to prosper and now houses more residents that ever since opening its doors in 2010.

CEO and founder, Roy DuPrez believes that Back2Basics success comes from their grass-roots business model and the staffs ability to give residents individual attention. We are more economical than some of the high end programs. We dont have a lot of unnecessary overhead. We are a small community that runs efficiently. Our expenses are realistic and we provided maximum one-on-one service.

Over the last year Back2Basics has become more seasoned with more qualified staff, a stronger outdoor adventure component, professional online presence and continuous program success rate. This May the northern Arizona long-term, recovery facility will be celebrating its two year anniversary.

We started this company with passion, and now we have the experienced and seasoned staff to back up that passion, said DuPrez. Weve been able to reach out to more families, collaborate with other organizations, accelerated our vocational training, participated in more community service, and involved other local institutions.

One of the advancements within the last year includes a 24/7 nutrition program lead by trained culinary professional, Kathy DuPrez. This part of the program teaches residents how to make good choices at the grocery store and involves a weekly cooking class.

Kathys latest project includes a made-from-scratch garden on the Back2Basics grounds. I am excited to include this in their culinary program of cooking, and now to being able to pick from the garden our own fresh vegetables, said Kathy.

CFO and co-founder, Graciela Del Moral Iturbe adds that Kung Fu two times a week, Spanish lessons and the Spanish immersion program have also further improved Back2Basics program. This is just one more opportunity to demonstrate the residents that sobriety is attractive, fun, full of learning opportunities and possible, said Del Moral Iturbe.

The most rewarding part of the program is getting to watch the progress of the young men in recovery notes Del Moral Iturbe. For each resident that has come through the door I know to never give less than a 100 percent; sooner or later that effort impacts them and they are able to embrace it and push through their own hardship. At the end, I know that the effort I give, every single time, has been worth it.
